Yeah I heard mixed things about the mini vacs. Prob best to use one at a garage. Its awkward for me to use our hoover at home cause we not got a garage!

Like the colour way_z! Black is what I wanted but it seemed hard to find a 1.4 TDI of the same ages as mine (Y) anyway. Im still happy with silver

Oh yeah if anyone can help...
I got a message on my dash this morning saying "oil service" I quickly stopped the engine and checked and it had got quite low so I went and topped it up with the correct oil but the message is still flashing.
I know its nothing major. I rang Robinsons up and they said the trip needs to be reset and asked me to bring it in. Its about 20 odd miles for me to go to Robinsons.

Wondered if anyone knew how to reset it? I would assume its a simple thing to do. It def doesnt need a service as I only had it about 3 months and its done just under 3000 miles.

Thanks!!!

Sorry ignore that! Just seen it on a sticky:

Polo 1999-02

OIL-Oil service

Press and hold button (A) (Located on speedometer below LCD display)
Switch ignition ON
Keep button (A) depressed until "---" appears in display
Release button (A)
Switch ignition OFF

I assume this is all ok to sort out the problem??
Thanks
