Hang on....just had a thought..I get a 15% NHS discount - that would explain the difference! Forgot about that, sorry to mislead!

Guys.. u r lucky in UK

I'm 29 and working for a insurance company.. still i've to pay HK$8700 (i.e. GBP725) for the car insurance after all discount (30% no claim & 50% staff)....

Hell.. :cry:

that sucks....

i used to think the UK was pretty bad, but I really can't complain these days. It's just lucky that insurance companies don't see the words 'TDi' and 'Sport' in the same light as 'GTi'!

I'm 27 and I pay R250 - £19.23, full cover and I'm on Grade 7 (which is the highest rating). I only need to pay for the first R1000 - £76.92 (if something should happen) and the rest is taken care of :) Seems living in a country with a "not so good" currency has it's benefits.

I have to add, I got this deal through my dad - I would've paid around R600 - £46.15 per month.

I guess I'm not doing to bad then :)
I'll be paying £480. 24 on 3 years no claims for the FSi Sport with Wheels and spoiler declared (neither of which cost any more though) I havn't asked if my Sunglasses holder would affect it! ;)

Well, for this year I paid £750 for a year fully comp (though I am insured on my Dads insurance) :)
