The Xenon set up? Is it just Ballasts with the gas stored and a normal type of bulb?? I really dont know anything about the xenons!!
im not a pro but im guessing...
the bulb has gas within and the ballasts simply provide power/regulate the power. dont hold me to it though, may be wrong.
also somebody mentioned tinting them in this thread. thats a big no-no because youd then end up with a uneven spread of light, hence it would mess up the beam pattern.
which in effect would create dazzle, and really plss of drivers coming towards you or those in front (rear view mirror)
