i paid £1300 with bell (10 month accelerator) with no ncb fully comp. just paid the renewal of £815 and im 20.
i used moneysupermarket to find mine - quotes ranged between 6000 and the 1300 i opted for.

I waited until I was 21, to buy my GTi, so im not alot of help. Anyway first years insurance was £600, with mods delclared. Im nearly 24 now and renewed in November and its down to £430 I think it was.
With Brentcare btw

nearly everything, bar a tiny bit of bodywork and my bmc. but i did it over the internet so its very vague.....
excess is £550 tho!

mine costs me £1100 a year, but that's because i have to insure myself for business miles of up to 25k miles a year - but thats with 3 years NCB. That's with direct line, also with breakdown cover and the wife insured on it

I'm 22 with 0NCB and had under 8 months driving experience, cost me 1400 in the end fully comp main driver.

10 Month Bonus Accelerator just gets you a years no claims in 10 months, that's what I went for as well.
I also added my mum as a named driver which did make the policy a bit cheaper, so I'd say it's worth doing

im on the 10 month accelerator as well.. how much extra a year is it to declare your car lowered?? adding my mum would have brought the policy up for some reason this year, but it did lower my premium the first year.
