I have two GTI's in my neighbourhood and i know of two more just in the city. What can i say.. Portugal is the place to be for 6N GTI! They are not THAT rare in continental Europe ( i've also seen them running around in spain and france)

If you need any specs or other stuff i can ask the owner's ( even though i now a bit about them myself!)

Here are some photos of the 6N GTI that I found from the Internet. I think the specification is pretty similar to the 6N2 GTI. Looks pretty cool.

spec is pretty much same as the 6N2 GTi

but i rekon the wheels suit the 6N2 betta

the black one and the red one look lowered to me and with 16s?

Did you see if it had disc brakes on the rear? The 6n GTI does, I've checked it on ETKA. Of course somebody could have retro-fitted them but it takes a bit more effort than a badge.

You can sometimes see some GTI engines being auctioned on ebay.de, like this one.

i think i wil be looking it to this seriously once i have the car and the interior done! think it would be quite a good one to do!
