my GTi has just gone over 46K should i be getting the cam belt done and roughly how much does this cost ?? back street garage best option ???

Got mine chnged a month or two ago VW said between £500 and £600 for belt and water pump, got it done for £210 by a non VW garage : ) so i'd say backstreet...
