Bargain motor right there! Glad your getting rid of the skirts!

The skirts, could be made to suit an 8v etc though. Smooth out all the mesh bits etc and chop it so it doesnt stick out etc.

I'm desperate for skirts, but there is none out there at all :x

They are coming off tomorrow, soon as I work out how to get them off. You can buy them if you like? :P

Just an update, I removed those awful sideskirts on saturday, ended up ripping them off and breaking them as they where held on using some sort of body kit glue, seemed more like the stuff you use to seal up your bathroom. Now just got bits of fibreglass inside the door and this gluey stuff to pick off which I'll leave for the bodyshop people to do at the end of this month.

Also fixed the rear windscreen washer jet as the hose had come off, so just popped it back on. Doubt it'll stay on there very long though, anyone got any good ways of keeping it secure?

Got the air filter and throttle body cleaned too on Saturday.

Brought these set of lights of one of my mates which I'm not yet sure if I like but here's some pics below of them on. Also managed to get the tyres off my other set of BBS alloys and remove all the bolts now need to get them split and send them off for a refurb.

All in all a productive weekend. Just ordered some more bits and pieces and booked my car in for a service this Thursday.

Well I think my mate got them from Germany not sure exactly where. He fitted them to his M4 16V Polo but they stuck out the sides a bit so he didn't want them. I think they are Hella though, I'll go check the box.

I think with tints they would look spot on.

Re: The rear washer. I used the rear washer hose connector off a 6N Polo (which is basically a piece of thick rubber hose), and zip-tied the two ends. The rear washer now works a treat. I'll try and get some pictures for you tomorrow.

Also, it's nice to see another Morden VW Polo :D

Yeah some helpful tips, the picture would be much appericated. Thanks for the help.

On the sticker, I been trying to peel it off, but it's a tough cookie, haha, will use some soap and hot water to get it off when I have some time.

Just ordered some black diamond brake pads, need to get some rear brake discs and will be fitting them sometime this weekend.

Ordered them from Venom Motorsport

Product : Quantity : Price
PP148 Polo Mk4/5 GTi 1.6 16v Black Diamond Rear Brake Pads (pair). : 1 : 16.50

Subtotal : 16.50
Shipping : 6.50
Tax : 4.03
TOTAL : 27.03

Also picked up a set of standard brake discs this morning from the dealers, right now can't really afford the black diamnond drilled and grooved discs.

Hope that helps.
