I'll do one about my colour:
Surf Blue (LA5C)
Advantages:
- Looks good in the sun
- Is easy to make it look very wet and reflective with a bit of polish and wax
- Still looks clean under a layer of dirt and dust
Disadvantages
- A lot of old people drive 6N2's in this colour
- Fairly common
- May fade if left without care
- The colour is a bit hard to get colour matched when it needs painting
I'd have a look at Mercato blue, too. Probably the nicest colour

ollie, you say yours is surf blue? mine is exactly the same one but is jazz blue?

James- It's definitely surf blue. I think jazz blue is a pearlescent colour, and surf blue is a solid. The code on my car is LA5C.

It's not only the GTi that has fogs, I'm pretty sure the 1.4 16v does.

Dragon green... Best colour full stop. lol
my 1.4 S cost 2.5k, 40k on the clock.
i would of thought a decent mk5 1.2 S would be a few £100 cheaper.

fogs come as standard on the GTI, 1.4 16V 100bhp version, and SE models!

i have about 20 quid atm so will that cover it?
i'll even come pick it up for that
i'm sure it wont break the bank to install front fogs anyway so thats the least of my worries when i'm looking really lol
