yeh good luck.
I dont know what other people think, paint cracking might be something that can be expected on a MKIV with age.
It just doesnt sound right to me, sounds like a dodgy re-spray which might be a result of a crash.
HPI check is £39.95 by the way, so a bit of a burn of cash if you ask me.

how did the fix go, did it work..
i forgot to mention if you use white spirit as the lube for the wet dry paper you need to wash all traces offf then polish wax the car. as it remove car wax like nobodys business

i havnt had time to do it m8 i had a disaster, my front/back gear selector cable snapped

so i was stranded 15 miles away from home any had to get it fixed.
so itll be next week now
will defo try it tho m8
