Think thats much better and easier to do, nice thinking

By the way my opinions weren't hateful, you must admit tho that they look quite awful just attached to a Polo!!!!

maybe they stand out abit.. but i didnt think they would look that out of place!!

Also.. what about the golf mk4..you all even turned against that!!! (HATERZ) LOL

Anyway.. im going to spray the lights.. iv decided!!! i saw the blue polo on another topic on this forum that had some awful small headlights that were black.. and they looked awful... after seeing that... no way am the black morretts staying that way... they look good in real life.. TRUST ME... but they just need to be colour coded!!

Also.. i prefer the ruffer look to my car that morrettes bring, rather than the girly look that angels give... but thats my personal preference. So lets agree to disagree!! LOL

Oooooooooooo, hit a nerve!! Guess your refering to my dub? Anyway like you said, its everyones personaly choice cos sometimes i see cars with crystal clear headlights and wonder if they'll look better then angels on mine. Only problem with mine are they aren't HID and the rings ain't bright enough.

Anyway, put pics up once your dome spraying em. (promise I won't hate)
The Golfs ok, its a dub at the end of the day. i still prefer the Polo outa the two until you get to the later models. I'd rather have a hot hatch polo then a normal engined golf. One day i'll own an R32 (I hope )

Oh ok, i might'v forgot which mark you wanted. Thats a huge leap forward i'd love to take myself

i still got uni loan to pay off let alone not getting a job from it (crap subject area after the dot.com bust) +accidents causing my insurance to go sky hi so doubt I ever will.

So just spray them ugly lights and when someone looks and puke's, atleast you know your saving up for a mint Golf :D

((Iv allready had a race with my mate who has a 1.4 golf mk 4. and s**t.. it fly's. He pushes it and it can go up to 30 mph in 1st gear... and then makes the thing fly.. which.. lets be honest... Our polo's cant come close to.))

Lol okey but don't say that we didn't warn you. But everyone to their own. If you're happy with the car then that's what matters most. I don't think in the slightest that anyone was a 'hater' here, they just wanted to help you so you don't make a decision you would later regret.

And the Polo is a man's car!!

Think you can't get more far from girly elegant looking then a polo with the fibreglass falling off, which mine is  AND i'll admit its still elegant cos all the girls do look much to all my mates dissapointment.

One thing i'v noticed around where I live is there's obviously alot of girls driving polo's. Whats outstanding is probably 80% of the time they tend to be gorgeous girls at that. They look cos your in an elegant polo, it has its perks and thats how I got the in car entertainment you see in my sig :D

I'v been through uni, work 2 jobs and still scrounge around not being able to spend anything on the motor, can't even afford an alarm yet and my insurance is £1600 at 24yrs of age! It'll be another 10yrs before i manage to get m hands on anything more powerful. So your probably in a better position then me.

Don't say they're slow either, i'v done 120mph and beaten 2 civic coupe's, a mk2 Escort RS Turbo 2 name a few. All which are meant to be faster. I'll admit the 1.0L does have a hairdryer for an engine cos I had one.

Show us the pics once your done spraying them ruf n tuf lights.
If you want it mor eruff n tuff then you need a lower stance- hence the cheap suspensions still waiting for yah , you know you want it

i went to a place in sydenham today... and after the way the guy talked to me i felt like nocking him out.

I went to a mechanic place today that deal with VW, i asked for a quote for putting shocks and springs on... he gave me the spill of it being removing the old ones, plus the time to put the new ones on etc. After i said they were second hand and i think it might involve compressing the springs to put them on... He gave me.... "We DONT DO SECOND HAND PARTS. we only fit new ones. You cant have second hand ones, say their wrong. It will cost you twice in labour if you get them and they dont fit." This guys was well arrogant, and annoyed me, he was lucky i was in a good mood.
But what an arss!!!

ah ha, but they're not just srings- shocks/dampers too remember and they're a good quality kit at that, not shoddy like Spax or Gmax. Like i said, the springs don't need to be compressed if they're already attached to the shocks and therefore cheaper labour. With springs/shocks put together as a kit like the set i'v got, a decent mechanic could do all 4 corners within 1.5 hours atleast.

Like I said, Ash's Tyre's and Wheels in Gants Hill are probably one of the best and renowned Tyre garages this side in East London (did all the wheel work on my cousins showcar- Turismo's 306), hence I get discount on labour.

I'll do the kit for £30 if you like and have a word with the garage for labour if your willing to go gants hill n take the kit.

Them mechanics are common and scared to touch modded cars/parts and only deal with parts using part numbers to match incase things go wrong. Go to a reputable garage who work on modded cars too- preferably a tyre garage

easily, fitted my coilovers, rear took me 30 minutes to swap, front in an hour, it's not that hard to do yourself, just give it a go, or even just take a look at it first, then you'll see how easy it actually is.

Its easily accessible and goes in all together. Think that mechanic was trying it to make it sound difficult to make £££ off your a55
