I'm 23 lol so even older than that! and most insurance companies did laugh at me when I mentioned a modified ibiza cupra, except for one...greenlight..all mod's declared £989.... :twisted:

deevub for a cupra in this kind of nick you are looking between 5500-6000+, this particular one was advertised for 6250 on pistonheads, I did a swap for my polo plus 350 cash, keeping in mind my polo had its cambelt done at vw, just had 60k service and had the BBS RM's on it, whereas the ibiza is in desperate need for a cambelt change.

As for insurance, most companies quoted around 1800 standard with 1 yrs no claims, as soon as you mention a k0s3 turbo to most they hang up pretty quickly! greenlight is definately worth trying though, check the insurance before you buy one thats my advice!

£1200 standard for me at 19 and 0 no claims with Bell.

Be it im 20 in 4 weeks, In the new year I shall no doubt be joining you :)

I want some petrol turbo speed after owning the G40 :cry:

I want one of these too, In Red tho. Initially i wanted a MK5 golf GTI in White but noway I can afford one. I got an insurance quote for the mk5 golf and came back at £450, :D just cant afford the damm car

No £ at the moment tho, so Polo will be staying for the foreseeable future. I do worry that I would miss the polo if I got rid.

did you say it has a ko3s turbo (the one found on the leon cupra 180bhp) instead of the ko3?

Yup, thats the one, its currently outputting 253bhp, a nightmare in the wet as i found out tonight!!
