but however lets say your on 15's and you see some very nice 16's that you want and then you get them and at the same time ur on 60mm springs n shocks then that is defo gona rub or lets say u get some 14's or lower then the 60mm springs/shocks aint gona be enough so in that case coilovers are better, but i reckon coilovers are better overall soo, but decision is urs lol

Not necessarily. Depends on how wide the wheels is and the profile of the tyre really. I had 60mm kit on my car before getting coilover and get no rubbing at all with 195/40/16 (7j)
I agree with the point you're making though

. Coilovers are really the best idea, believe me I got a suspension kit and then got coilovers.

How do you actually adjust the ride height with coilovers?

i believe its done with 2 C spanners. you should get them with coilies when u buy them. if u get them second hand check they have them with them. once theyre on the car u dont have to take them of to adjust them but u have to remove the wheel. basically the coilies have 2 thin nuts on them which the spring sits against. the higher spring you adjust using the spanner to the required height tehen the lower nut u tighten up against the upper nut so they tighten against each other and keep the spring there.

Woah thanks guys. I think I'm deffo gonna go for the collies option 'cause I'm skeptical about lowering my car cause of speed bumps.
