i could not get the vw clamp on it, so i used a jubilee clip, i got it tight enough round it to hold it in place, and had it inspected on my service last week and all is ok
forge told me as long as its even only lightly held in place it will be fine, because its sucking air in to the turbo, not having it pressurised out from it
the only pressured air going in to it is back from the dv, as long as its held, and sat square on the turbo and not at an angle, it will be fine, so dont worry
