Hi Kenny, nice ride with good choice of colour!
:-)

I've been comtemplating getting H&R lowering springs (which I can get for very good price), but still wondering about the ride quality.

I know you mentioned that it's very stiff, can you tell me a little more about it? My wife hates hard rides, and thinks the GTI is already too hard. Wanted to know how the ride compares stock? can you cope with pot holes and bad chip roads? Is it bone jarring? :-)

Please let me know abit more about the springs! in terms of comfort...

Cheers

Compared to stock there is a very big difference. If ur wife thinks its a hard ride just now then prepared to be sleepin on the couch!

Driving along the motorways and smooth(ish) roads it is fine but come on to a unmaintained road ie pot holes, hilly then ur feeling it all!! Can be very unpleasant when hitting a pot hole even at a low speed and when it comes to a "bumpy" road ur jumpin out ur seat!

Had springs on my clio (previous car) and it wasnt nearly as bad as it is on my polo! Seemed a lot smoother and less harsh on my suspension and my bones!

kenny, you dont use a paintbrush mate haha, you use a needle, sandpaper and fine abrasive liquid compound polish ;)

Or take it to the bodyworks! Think they would do a beta job than me!

thanks kenny...

no H&R for me then....

I don't want a baby at the back bouncing around either... probably vomit on my non-leather GTI trim!

cheers for your info!
