and the mesh grilles being sold.
By the way Iggy; where did you get your mesh grille from and for how much?
I got it imported from Germany. Cant remember the company, cost me about £35 inc P&P

I want another one with a better snug fit. See from your pics that theres a bit of a gap around the edges as it doesn't fill the space enough. Mines the same but saw a car with one that was the perfect fit.

I've got a practically new universal induction kit thats yours for £25. Only had it temporarily till the K&N one got delivered. Very cheap but obviously not as good as the K&N, Pipercross ones. To go all out you should get a BMC kit although they're a lot more expensive.
get a 4-2-1 manifold with de-catted exhaust system.

I was thinking of De-catting last night

but getting someone to do the whole job would be a pain.
Ill have a scout on ebay and look at the K&N kit and link it to see what u think. Am a total nub with engines, i jus know the electronics cos they are easy to understand
EDIT:
I found this one on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/K-N-57i-Induction ... dZViewItem
is it good price and good for the job?

Think the K&N kits are around 50-70, sold the old one just recently. getting a whole new system front to back is very expensive. I'm opting to just de-cat which I can replace every MOT and a cat back exhaust. Have the tail pipe like standard so you don't have to cut out the bumper. Long way to go yet as £££ a bit short. I was gonna do all that last year lol, glad to see yours is coming along.

Looks good, the filters a bit taller and shorter though for the 8v's, think that pics just an illustration pic of the 16v one. Got my old one for £97 2 years ago, dropped in price quite a bit. Check the forums as well if any about. The guy I sold mine to re-sold it cos he bought the wrong one.

Just an update...
Installed my New Kenwood Headunit with On screen Garmin Sat Nav =D
Got a simple boot-build with a 1200watt JBL Sub in. Installed my New Rear lights, they are blacked out MK5's with the Hella LEDs in it.
Installed some new electric mirrors, BMW M3 style i think.
I have just bought the 16v Rear Bumper waiting for it to arrive.
And thats about my car up to date now.
Still need to take side stripes off and the Polo signs at the back lol waiting for warmer weather.
Ill post some pics when i get chance.
