lol you'ev never manage to see it in my sig I guess, its always been like that! All i've done is smooth off the all the side vents of the 16v bumper and kept the main one. Smooth off the palte indent and repositioned the plate along the bottom; simple but effective.

All the fibreglass is falling out so need it plate welding together and resprayed. if you plan on doing it then don't bother fibreglassing it as its more prone to cracking, which plate welding isn't

Yea I'ma smooth my 8v bumper. Went round Kapil's house today, he wouldn't let me get a 16v bumper lol. Then we drove down to school to pick our lil bros/sisters up lol....nice mini cruise that made me realise how LOW that brere's car is and how CRAP mine is compared to him. But watch this space....its time to go EURO STYLE!

LOL i'll have to shake Kaps hand for changing your mind. His car is pretty 8) probably the best mk4 i've seen. Would you believe mine used to sit lower then his before I bought it to speed bump London! So now when I look at his, I look at mine which now looks crap.

The old rims weren't that bad, couldn't actually see all the spokes, 5 were actually black and consisted of 10 altogether in a wierd design. Looked great for a jap style look but not for euro.

 ok! (The old Ripspeeds are sitting on a very ugle and dented blue punto mk3 now  and I got 75% of my money back even after they're 2yrs old, kerbed and 2 crap tyres!)

Don't see the point of going UD for saturday unless your cars in there. Much busier on sunday being the last day of the show. hopefully I'll see you when we meet up for the convoy

Ye should be sic. Im whippin my steelies out for this one. Theres a bit of rust on there? Do you know how I can go about getting rid of that and how to respray it? Safe.

to get rid of rust by refurbing them you need atleast 4 types of wet and dry paper. Respray them in primer and let it dry. After spray in the colour of your choice. Repsray them in white to contrast against your black motor of try black for a tealthy approach; i'd go for the later  You can have them ready fur UD.

I want a cat-back exhaust with a down pipe on the box like the standard one so I don't need to cut the bumper. Anyone have an idea if it'll ruin the emissions level?

Well if you keep your cat and get it done with a ceritified specialist, I'm sure it will be fine

^^ I might rid my cat too  get a bolt on section so I can replace it for MOTs although thats foobarin expensive! Love the high-pitched sound of a decatted 16v  OR mwould it be better to rid the decat and keep the standard backbox? Think that might ruin the emissions a load more!

well de-catting will definitely push emissions over the legal limit (obv.), but will make it louder, and a straight through pipe would be more preformance beneficial (sp).

I was hoping to stay JUST within the legal limit lol but understand that with emmisions getting more and more strict its bound to push past the limit soon anyway!

Any idea if sports cats are any good and still keep a bit regulated to emissions? Never understood why theres decats and then theres sports cats?
