sounds like you have been had but
if u really wanna do your arches
get a fine angle grinder blade on your grinder and cut the lip out
then go over it will a half moon file
its easy to do on the front but the rears r double skinned
also paint would be a problem i did mine last week and as we all know its ogin to be painted anyway
i personally would not touch the outers with hammer "bodge"
i must stress your wheels do not fit stand up and rattle some cadges
were did you get them from?

got them from topgear.co.uk but without any tyres cus i put on some yokohama tyres on. i will quickly go and take a pic of the rear arches( as thats where they r rubbing most and ull see what i mean....

the white lines ont he tyre is where it has been rubbing slightly. also the proportions look reli bad but the wheel isnt sticking out firther than the arch as it looks like it in the first pic.

there we go , also does that look lower than 60mm to u ?

looks a little less tha 60mm cannot tell but they are multifit wheels
thats the problem
personally i would change them so much easier

if i can't sort them over the weekend i will probs consider that, but not reli one option that i wanna be taking, ill let u know how it goes though, cheers for ur help bratman.... legend

they dont look anything like my wolfrace octane sports :S
mine dont have that multi offset thing, i got 4 straight holes for four boltsand thats that, i have never had any problems with my alloys.
but if i were you, i would take them back and get a set of lighter alloys, those things weigh an absolute ton.

if its just a minor scrubbage then get strectched tyres around the corners. The curvature would reduce scrubbage as its curving away from the arch. is the camber etc sorted after lowering the car? Doesn't look like theres a problem with that in the pics but you nver know.

just got the new tyres n i think im gonna go for arch rolling as i can then have room for some nicer wheels in the future.

thats cus they arent the sport they are the race ... slightly different, werent too heavy when i was holding them to be honest and also i got them so i couls have the contrast of the chrome in the middle with the black surrounding... hopefully it will be sorted after the weekend though so ill let u guys know how it goes. cheers for the input though guys
