They will try and fob you off with the easiest option...dont accept what ever they offer unless YOU are happy with it... Negotiate if you arnt happy...
I would expect nothing less than a full rebuild, free of charge...I might expect to pay for a few bits and pieces, but I would argue that as well...
If you are unhappy with the service they have provided and dont think they are responsible enough to do a proper job this time, then say so! Suggest that you get the gearbox built by someone who is competant, and that you will send them the bill...
