Riggy wrote:Yer cheers, that makes sense. Are adjustable suspension kits similar or the same as coilovers? If not how much do they range from and what brands would you recommend? Does anyone have or had the cobra lowering springs?? They state that they lower the car 50mm and are one of the cheapest ive seen (£103 from
www.v-werks.com) which also have had good reviews??
Yer I was getting at coilovers really - plus hydros and air. But sure I've seen some coilover kits for £200 - £300 on club polo or something.

Riggy, just wondering which springs did you go for in the end?
I want those H&R's on europerformance.co.uk but I've got a 1.4 and still not sure which one to get lol.
Where would you get them fitted too?

Havent got any lowering springs as i've now decided to just save up for coilovers. I know if i were to get springs I wud just want to go lower lol. With fitting, my mate's dad owns garage so il go to him as he will do it for a heavily discounted price lol.

Yer i was looking at them the other day. I'm not too sure on them to be honest. Defentitely a good price but I reckon the quality will be quite poor and they won't last. Has anyone had any experiences with them or know if theyre any good?

cant go wrong for price and as long as you keep the threads well greased they wont sieze , look at their feed back! i mean how long you gunna keep the car 3 years max and they come with 2 warranty!
