Cheers for that mate, I may save some money for now and not bother.

What do I need spring compressors for? I thought they were only needed if replacing springs not for coilovers?

I kind of got lost when it came to the fronts. What exactly do you have to get off the old fronts and how du get them off?

i thought the camber was not adjustable on the polo gti

There is a finite amount of adjustment. You can buy some H&R triple-C camber-adjusting bolts that allow much more adjustment than the standard bolts on the front suspension. I bought some but in the end my mechanic friend who fitted the coilovers got the camber pretty much perfect with the standard kit :)
