i am seriously wondering If I will be abel to do this - is it as simple as folllowing instructions?
or do you need electrics experience?

lol soudns good - how much does an alarm cost to get fit usually?
Well my local does basic Cobra or Scorpion alarms from £180 which includes fitting. he charges around £20-50 for including the central locking. He'll get the locks himself and fit them for you. Price depends on the car in question. So if your planning to get an alarm you might aswell get the central locking done at the same time.

it is not cost effective it seems, to get rcl installed alone as i have been getting quotes aroud the 150 mark. i may as well get an alarm and pay 30 quid on top for remote central locking loool
