The blue is ace, 40/40 drop is fine for daily driving but doesn't really look lowered. I'm going for the 60/40 drop on mine next year, maybe save some cash for coilovers in case you change your mind?

Im not sure about the blue lights etc but I think the blue interior looks great! Where did you get your gaiter and handbrake from? Are the pics with the 40 drop?

yeah it's dropped 40mm, but its on 15s so its not all that low. I got the gaiters off ebay if you do a search for mk4 polo gaiters they custom make them in the colour with the coloured stitching that you ask for, think it was like a tenner.

Awesome thanks mate. Yer Im looking to go down 40 too. My friends will give me lifelong abuse if I go any lower! And windsurfing takes you to some rough places! Cheers!

its alright, yeah i was happy with my interior, cheers for the comments. The 40/40 is a nice drop as it looks slightly lowered and its a nice practical height for driving around, feels nice too.

The rear lights dont look modern or stylish at all, Id replace them with the default ones or put mk5 ones on. The fact is the blue indicators and back lights make it look cheap because firstly the blue doesnt and couldnt match the car blue, and secondly no new modern day cars have anything remotely like them.

Perhaps a better style would be to put clear indicators on the front, blue ones on the side and paint the disc brakes blue instead to have a blue motif. Subtle things are often the best, but its up to you, but bare in mind most people will think it looks chaved up with those lights...

Anyway just a thought,

can u feel a marekd difference in ride comfort as in is it more luxurious folowing the drop? (compared to standard?)

do you think this would feel the same even if the wheels were smaller e.g. 13?

it is slightly more bouncy but not annoyingly so like i find Minis are! on 13s it will sit quite low whereas on 15s it looks lowered but not too low so i can still have a full car and get over speedbumps etc. Depends what look you're going for but its definately worth doing. But i don't think it would be more uncomfortable on 13s.

I'm sure it'll just be a case of 2 or 3 torx screws?

^^ i think you're right. Although i've decided not to remove them, as i fear that the wheels will look smaller in the arch and i don't want to go lower. The illusion will be runined!
