Will try that actually! :lol: VW reckon they had around 5 different part numbers for that one part. Hmmm, intresting.
I will ring them and see what i can find out.

Thanks for the advice, rang vagparts and by mid next week i will have a gti gear gaiter, with knob and the gti lights!
So thanks for telling me to ring them!

Hey, thanks, Great start indeed!
Looking to add lots of extra touches which i was toying with last year.
Does anyone know if you can fit the gti polo handbrake handle to the normal polo 9n3?
I am still yet to get my pics on here. I am in the process of getting it sorted with flickr etc. So definately have pics of my car soon.
I took up the idea of what Kenny said, about a remap. Got in touch with jbs auto designs and it turns out that althoug my car has had a remap i can increase its power, at a cost. A new turbo and new remap could push it up to 170-180 bhp.
Just wondered if that is worth the £2000 or not really.
I have no problems with how the car runs at present, and its not something im going to get done now. Just wondering for future things to do.
Got plenty of things to keep me going!

handbrake handle grip can also be sourced from vag parts too mate

Will give them a call asap, i have an issue to sort out firts, dont know if anyone had this problem or can help??
My passenger seat wont lock in any postion. So when driving it has been sliding back and forth. Any ideas as to a simple diy fix or a proper garage fix?
Kind of wedging it at the mo!
