if you buy it back off the insurance company, yes.

my dads range rover was shunted and it was a cat e w/o (not economically repairable). they gave him 2k or summat for it, n he bought it back for 300. took it to a bodyshop, fixed it, its on sale again for about 2k :) good as new, 1k spent!

seriously, GET IT.

cat d only needs a new MOT n its good to go. i think. check on that bit.

but yeah. BUY IT!

Pfffft rubbish. My car was a write off and i still gladly payed 7000 quid for it.

Where is this car because if you dont buy it i sure as hell am!

I call dibs. Dibs over-rides any previously stated claims to purchase unless that claim included the term dibs. ITS THE GODS HONEST TRUTH LOOK IT THE f**k UP I TELLS YA!!!!!

A Cat D on this age polo was probably cos the price for repair wasn't worth the cost cos the car so cheap, therefore just writing off the car instead. So the fact its a cat D doesn't mean it totally loose its value much, not to that extent anyway.

I would've dibbed but know Lemeph needs it more so I second his dib lol (thats if your a fool not to snatch it yourself)
