No, they are the wrong font, but they are reflective and offer alot longer life span than standard plastic ones.
I'v never had any problems with any on mine, I've owned ones with the GB band on them, and now have plain ones.
Some people will tell you they're not worth the hassle. But I reckon it's down to the police in your area.
