pressures should remain the same as standard wheels regardless, as the car still require the same support

pressure recommendations can be found on a sticker inside the petrol flap, iirs its about 2.2 bar (37 psi)

i thought that but if you look on the cap different tyre sizes have different pressures :? PS is it ok to remove the scews on the front wheel arch liners and tuck the liner behined the flap as thats all the wheels scrub on at the front when it bottoms out??

NOPE!!!

Refer to the tyre manufacturer website.

My Goodyear 17's need much higher pressures than the factory 16's

No reason why they should remain at standard pressures....

Different wheel and tyre size should be at a different pressure..

I am sat in an Audi A4 at the moment and looking at the tyre pressures...

There are three different wheel and tyre size combinations fitted as standard and all are showing different pressures.. and then of course you should change according to the loading of the car...

Whitepolo - use what feels good and keep an eye on how the tyres are wearing....

If too low pressure then the inner/outer edges wear quicker.. too high and the centre of the tread wears quicker. (so long as geomtry good)

Like you say - too much and the wheels/car becomes skittish especially at higher speeds, and bumps be even worse....

That looks mint! Whats the ride like? Must be pretty bumpy ride with the 215/35 tyre profile and having it dropped that much.
