coilovers can go on either side, regarding camber there is a limit at which they can be adjusted so mine is a 1 degree the best i could. have a look in the gti section about 10 topics down that is mine lowered.

when u say yours is 1 degree do u mean u got a negative camber of 1 degree?

if so mine isnt that far of that but i wanna lower mine more but still wanna make it so the wheels sit flat not angled.

yes it is the red one, its 1 degree negative camber it was the closest to zero it would go, before it was done it was over 3 degrees out.

1 degree out is nice, looks better and technically better handling

No, because it's going to be -1 degree each side isn't it, so it shouldn't pull to one side if it is setup equally.

Negative camber gives a greater tyre contact patch during cornering, that's why a slight amount tends to be good.

do u know much the car lowers once the coilovers have settled?

i put them on last tuesday and adjusted them on thursday and since then it seems to be lower so im guessing its settled but am gonna leave it for a bit then maybe even lower them more.

i would've thought a week would be a good length of time to let the springs settle.

well it looks like they settled and since stlling they seem to of lowered themselves between 15-20mm. prob lower it more tho over the nxt week or so...... not scrapping enough bumps.......... well any actually
