Would replacin ur downpipe make much difference and keepin the rest standard?

Yes it would, the rear box isn't much restricted. All the restriction is in the downpipe/cats. Amazing difference.

:cry: sorry for going off topic Though most only if mapped to match I guess - which APR wont do!

The number of times they've told me Stage 2 is available only to tell me now its not. Marketing ploy!

next on my list is this exhaust with no cat :lol: cant wait! As i have a nice straight through cat back now, and with no cat i bet it sounds awsome!

When the car was on the ramps at Pipewerx I could not believe that there was only one silencer and thats the rear box.

(no wonder when APR tried to make a better exhaust they made no real power gains - the stock item is good enough)

The exhaust pipe work from the cat back doesnt look that restrictive..

So if you get 2.5" downpipe and de-cat (or high flow cat) then most of the restriction is gone..

Now when this restriction is gone EGT (exhaust gas temps) are lower and the whole thing can breath better... so get better air in like air filter and Forge TIP... and you have hardware needed for Stage 2.

So a little more boost and work on timing (aka Stage 2) is no problem - no problem for us as luckily we dont have to use "off the shelf" programming... we get it custom made for you and your mods :wink:
