Looks much better and cleans off the front, personally i'm not a fan of tints on cars like hothatches because I think they look tacky but could look ok on that colour.
Colour coded door handles will look great and I think you should lower the rear just slightly more.

Tim! I've taken your advice, keeping the 8v Bumper on and smoothing the plate recess!

Yup. So i'll DA my 16v bumper down, primer it, and sell it on.

Good man, thinking outside the box.
It's not jsut an original idea thing for me, I generally think it looks tones better than the 16v!!

The more my Dub progresses the more i like the 8v bumper. Lower it a bit more on the rear, Wheel spacers, 6n2 rear lights. Maybe a badgeless grill. Colour coded handels. Nice and simple polo.

Plans all sound great! consider glossing the handles black though? along with the mirrors and B pillars? Just a thought.

Thats a good point. Keep it dark

Also plan to go lower if i dont add spacers so i may sell the cups and find some nice 13's. Also in need of another splitter, VR6, Cupra, Mark 5 gti ect.

VR6 is stupidly big, cupra doesnt really compliment the smooth look, GTi is the way forward
