not sure if its the same with just springs but if u get coilies once u lowered them u have to wait for them to settle befor u can get them tracking etc done otherwise u'll get it done and then when its settled, it will lower a bit more then you'll more then likely have to have it done again.

not totally sure think it depends on how low u lowered it, if ur gonna lower it loads wat u could do is get the camber sorted straight away befor it settles, then altho it hasnt settled it means u wont be driving at a angle and wear ur tyres out as quick then obviously when it settles get it done again. if u only lower it a little bit then u can prob just wait till it gets settled then get the camber etc done.... im gonna see about lowering my car more today then maybe get the camber sorted tomorrow even if it isnt settled yet.

Although I feel it's the far better option, coilovers aren't as easy, and much less of a headache than most people are saying.

Different springs just mean you strip the old struts down, and replace them. Which involves clamping the old springs, removing the mount, then reassembling.

For coilovers, if you don't get new top mounts, you have to do all of the above anyway to get to the old ones, like Bepe said.

You then have to go about adjusting each strut until you get them perfect in height and comparison to the others. you'll have the wheels on and off and the car up and down alot, trust me. You then have to wait for them to set then before you can properly make any further adjustment, which can take up to around a week.

true. i changed my height about 3 times now. still havnt finished it yet tho.

Probably only be lowering like 50mm, is it still worth getting coilovers?

Is 50mm that massivley noticable?

I know 30mm is pretty point aparently?

I think 60+ is really noticable?

50mm is a fair and noticable stance. springs and shock will achieve it though.

But yea depends what look your going for.

A 60/60 spring and shock set is the perfect balance between practicality and looks if you have a full car or have someone else in it frequently

Thats what i meen, i don't wanna slam it, as i'd have a full car fairly often, just don't want a HUGE gap between the wheels and the arches.

Get a 60/60 kit then dude, dont get lowering springs more than 40mm, as your standard shocks wont last much long. Best to get the kit OR coilovers and as someone said, you can adjust it to the perfect hight for you
