its the ign live you need and an illumination, ign i got from ciggy lighter but turns the stereo off wen the ign goes off not the key removed, and illumination from ciggy light bulb, if you want it to go off when you remove the key you would have to find a feed off something that goes off when you pull the key? i couldnt be bothered looking?

looking at the diagram it goes to switched live (ie ignition live) so you can feed it from the switch on the column or anywhere else that has a switched live

the ciggy lighter live is a switched live but , there are two switched lives one when you turn the key back and one when you remove the key its silly!!

you know hoe yours is wired up white polo, what happens if say the bulb goes in your cig lighter, does your HU lose its display?
also have you fused the live and illumination feeds?
dont suppose you can provide photos of how you have done it can you, really dont want to be beaten by a flaming radio

the ciggy is fused anyway so that causes no problems but you can add another if you want and its not the main feed its the ignition live so no major current! Also the illuminaton is for when you turn on ya lights, so some stereos go dimmer or brighter or dont change ! ill have a look tomo as im off and take some piccys 4 ya

the wire from my adaptor for my cd player
one of the loose ones i got
is slotted back into 1 part of the adaptor as a perm live
so its always on
i like it that way as it always reminds me to take my cd player front off which cuts it all
