I agree, the outside needs cleaning mainly to keep the car looking smart, the inside is a bit more important as if you let the corrosion build up at the ends of the spokes then the strength of the wheel will eventually be less - that is why I suggested using the slightly stiff Kent sort of loop ones and bend them to suit as I did. They are not anything like as hard as some of the Halfords wheel brushes - my mate's wife gave me one of these Halfords ones as a present - its handy for scrubbing the plastic wheel arch liners only!Jeff GTi wrote:i do, every time i wash the car
