i do, every time i wash the car
and inbetween when its not possible, wheel cleaner inside the wheel and pressure wash off

I agree, the outside needs cleaning mainly to keep the car looking smart, the inside is a bit more important as if you let the corrosion build up at the ends of the spokes then the strength of the wheel will eventually be less - that is why I suggested using the slightly stiff Kent sort of loop ones and bend them to suit as I did. They are not anything like as hard as some of the Halfords wheel brushes - my mate's wife gave me one of these Halfords ones as a present - its handy for scrubbing the plastic wheel arch liners only!

HA HA! no, he drives lots of old Saabs so a wire brush would be fine for him! Oh, and he lives in your neck of the woods!

Oh well then, so you've never seen the inside of "forgotten" wheels then? Even after using wheel cleaner the wrinkly stuff is really the coating lifting and letting water and salt in - and the alloy does not like that at all!

Get the EZ detail one, halfords one or even the meguiars ones are a waste of time (have all three).

Ordered the EZ one lastnite along with my G220 Polisher and Menzerna Kit and Sonus MicroFibre cloths! Cant wait to get them
