Err, I dont think so.
I dont know all the tools in photoshop as I dont it use it that much (mostly use Paint Shop Pro as thats what I've got at work), probably would have been easier to do what you said, if I knew how to do it
I just made an elliptical selection, and feathered it by about 150-200 pixels, inverted it, so it was the outside of the circle that was selected, and filled it white with the fill tool. Probably the long way of doing it, but like I said I'm not that hot on photoshop

im gutted i couldnt get a good christmassy one, i was looking forward to it too, but this one will have to do, my chritmas was spent in benidorm this year to its a rather sunny one lol, but if you look close there is a hint of christmas-ness
i think its not busy this month with it being christmas and everyone is busy

that is actually a really nice pic pip, it reminds me of christmas with my dog, he likes to open the presents and rip all the paper into small bits lol
