What brake fluid did you purchase? Mine cost £9 for 2Litres from GSF! dot 4 fluid.

I would put it down as the stalk mate.

I managed to get a relay and stalk for under £30 (thanks to stephen6n2). Just fitted the relay and the car is still having the same problem with the washers. Will try fitting the replacement stalk next week and see if that stops it. If it doesn't then I'm baffled

b*******s. The garage called my mum whilst I was at work today. The noise isn't the clutch release bearing as it's totally fine. They reckon it's the gearbox on it's way out. Great lol

At least it passed it's MOT
