i want em but dont wanna strip my lights down and then they steam up etc as we have lots of rain over here!!! But defo a future mod!

if you seal them up right you wont have any problems. i washed my car yesterday and there was no steam. ill keep you briefed if something comes up.

Newer lights have vents on them to prevent steaming up, so they should be ok.

when you say nothing can go wrong with fitting, does that mean there is only one way these will fit in? because i would assume that the beam pattern would be knocked out completely?

mine get condensation on the front and the back

Check the rubber drain bits are firmly secured and the back of the headlight is sealed properly

them lites are on fire! ! ! !
some one needs to buy them, convert them and then sell them me for 30 quid

there is only one way you can fit them... the projector has at its back form of some sort that will fit only in the correct position. just like the lightbulb. you can't put the lightbulb in any other position then the correct one.

so in theory you can adjust the beam same as normal!

not only in theory, but also in reality
you can adjust your beam just the way you did before from inside the car for the sensitive part and from under the bonnet roughly. just like before.

These look like a very smart solution.

I'd have no worries about opening up headlight. I did it with my old halogen headlights when an adjuster broke inside. It was simple, just a matter of going round the sealant with a hairdryer and a knife. There were no fogging problems with them afterwards

I asked hids4u about them there, they said they have no plans in the short term to sell them, but might look into them in the future

one question how do you change the bulbs???

What are the normal headlights called?

is it possible to get the 'blue and white' look without changing the lights?

@whitegtipolo just like the normal bulb. the lightbulb is in the back of the projector and it isn't a problem.

@lillayzee i think you are referring to the halogen ones ...
you can get that effect but not as white as these ones. go to a petrol station or somewhere you can find light bulbs for your car and ask for Phillips Blue-Vision. they are considerably bluer than the normal halogen lights, but not as "ice-blue" as the xenon 6000k.

Your referring to HIDs. You can buy retro-fit kits. and it'll give you this effect. Projector lens' enhance this refraction even further.
