It's ok, does get a bit annoying but you get used to it, plus having your music on drowns it out.. I took a trip over newlands pass last Friday however, and staying in 3rd gear up the mountain thing is terrible. I ended up with a headache.

Ha ha mine's wayyy to loud at 80mph cruise on the motorway (for my liking)

mine gets quieter at higher 'motorway' speeds for some reason. well its an excuse i guess
loudest at 50-60mph mostly

Mine is quieter above 90mph when the revs go above 4200rpm!
