Think you've got the idea with the air filter with all the advice given.
I'd definitely scrap the wheels also, they're way to big for the 6n2. Look at getting some 15s or 16s.
The carpet. If you remove the plastic trim around the edge, you could probably staple the carpet back around the edge. Then refit the the trim to hide the staples.
I would also suggest relocating your fuse for your sound system. It's in a very precarious spot there, just hanging around over the coolant pipes. If that unscrew and falls onto the clutch mech you'll be looking at alot of problems.
Take the wire round the back, and screw the fuse case to the wall behind the coolant tank.
