Just don't expect someone to take £200 for a perfect on job, unless they're a friend or don't care for money. As it would cost you that in materials.
Sorry to bring this up again, but i was talking to someone at work the other day and he has recently completely re-done his mini including a spray job. I asked him about price, and he was getting rediculous quotes, so he did it himself. It was the first car he has ever sprayed, it is metallic blue and the job has turned out immaculate. It cost him £150 for the paint, and it took 1 1/2 litres to do the whole thing. It just proves that you can do anything you put your mind to. I certainly would never pay more for a paint job than the car is worth, i'd rather do it myself, even if i do make a pigs ear of it. Nuff said.
