Mate im assuming you are running nankangs on your polo. 165/40... (you got the double din unit from me
)
I have lost 2 tyres on 4 of my rims because of these bastard tyres. It comes off on average about twice a month. Im a pro at driving on rims now haha!!
They scare the s**t outta me, im never buying nankangs again, thats for sure! my proxxes were fine before I changed them...
Oh and I run about 2.7 Bar in (0.2 more than reccommended) just to try and keep them on!

Are you running 165/40s on a 7j wheels also?

yeah 7J rim. its a absolute b***h. I simply think the nankang 40 sidewall is the smallest by far. I forgot to consider that the width of the tyre is 30mm smaller, so as a result the sidewall of the tyre is smaller. So small infact that its barely stretchable!

And your tyres come of twice a month.. i would be scared s**t-less all the time, just 2 drive it if mine were like that
how are your rims did they touch the floor ?

Yeah I've driven a couple hundred metres on the rim as I couldn't stop in the road where I was. Had no choice! I had to jack the car up, and pull the tyre towards me to get the beading to make contact with the rim again. Absolute b***h!!!!!
