yea a hairdyer should be good, just watch the obvious water and electricity danger
and yea ive noticed with the 2 polos ive owned, if not popped fully into the gear position they gear can just pop out

, just be careful, its normally if ur in a rush or doing it too quickly without noticing, ie getting huckled by queing traffic

lol
good luck with the de badging

I just got a quote on the srusty splitter. A replacement from the scrappy in the same colour will cost me 10+vat which... 11 pound if I'm not wrong? lol
I'd say that's a good price. Anybody agree?

yea tht sounds not too bad, vat is 15% the is it not? therefore it would be 50p more

ie £11.50

lol
anyway have a wee nosey about some other scrappyards as they could have a 16v bumper which is 1 piece, and very smooth and sporty looking(sexual almost)

I just made a total d*ck out of myself lol. For some strange reason, I had 10% in my head lol. Surely the 16v will be more expensive? I'll have a look nevertheless. It's great owning a car

It's like an empty canvas you can draw on to your hearts conent (if you have the money that is). lol

lol nah its kl, and yea the 16v bumper might be a little more expensive depending on condition etc, but it could save you from changing it in the future... like i did

bought a bottom rear valance thing for the 8v bumper, then a few weeks later came across a cheap 16v bumper, i got mine for £30

had to travel 30 odd miles for it, but worth it in my eyes.
also im thinking of getting rid of my 16v rear lights, they're slightly tinted and sporty looking compared to the original orange thangs
just keep a look out in the for sale section
and it is like a blank canvas, but sometimes artists make mistakes, just be careful and dont do the wron thing to it

You're so right about getting 'em wrong lol. How much are you selling or going to sell your rears for? I'd be quite interested because they look clearer than the standard rears.

Hmmm, I'll think about it because my main priority is the bumper. Thanks for letting me know

Btw, a little update. Had an oil leak. Went to my local mechanic, I've got a tinzy winzy crack in the thing that holds the engine oil. He says he'll replace it for me on saturday night but its alright to drive because its not leaking much. I got scared... lol

Just wired up a pair of 6.5" speakers on my parcel shelf so I've got good sound all around. Gonna try and get some money to upgrade my standard door speakers. Do you think I should get my standard wheels sprayed in a glossy black so they're nice and shiny? I've been looking at a few bee sting aerials on the net. Might buy one in a few days off ebay.
