Tim what do you use to clean your engine? Also are those bottles and lids resprayed or new parts?Tim_GTi wrote:Welcome to the site mate.
Nice car you've got there.
I'd make a recommendation, get yourself a cold air feed from eBay for your BMC, get things running more efficiently!

Can't find a bmc one on ebay, would a pipercross one work? Or a universal one?Tim_GTi wrote:

Don't really want anything showing on the front bumper, where's best to put the other end of the air feed

Re: Godderz23 Polo GTi
Put it where the original feed goes - into the drivers side wing. It gets a good feed of cold air there and is protected from water etc.

Re: Godderz23 Polo GTi
When picking the car up a few weeks ago, the previous owner said he had the spare key but it was at his parents house and he'd send it down to me, well after a phone call and text or 7 looks like he doesn't have it!!
Any idea's how much a new one would be? I guess its only a main dealer jobby also?!

Yeah im well pleased with them, heard the ride was gonna be terrible, but its really good, honestly glad i didn't spend £600 on some.
Re: Godderz23 Polo GTi
Hello. Car's going into the bodyshop next week for a bit of a tidy up, when i get it back im stuck deciding what wheels to get
Put some pictures up of ones im keen on but cant really decide!
I know there the "usual suspects" that most polo's/lupo's seem to go for, but i do like them, plus dont want to spend much more than £600 on a set.
Stole all the pics from this site
Audi Pepperpots
ATS Cups
Standard BBS' Powdercoated
Ronal Turbo's
Lenso BSX
Comments/opinions/alternatives would be appreciated
Cheers, Chris.

Re: Godderz23 Polo GTi
Looking forward to seeing some pics of the car when its out of the bodyshop
The Audi pepperpots are only available in 5 stud (5x100) so you will need adapters if you decide to get a set.The good news is thier really cheap so you could probably get a set including the adapters for around £400, maybe less.
ATS Cups are always popular as are the RXII's and Lenso wheels.
Ronal LS & Turbo Wheels are both pretty popular too.
Good luck choosing
