Have you got any pics of your colour concept Polo then?

They have the Leather Recaro seats if I remember correctly and their really rare, be nice to see some snaps of it.

Eibach Sportline springs are around £120-130 and expect to pay between £70-80 for fitting at a garage.

Thanks mate. Yeah keep an eye out and I'll put some more up over the next few days, I'll get some of the interior too, it's black and red leather on this one.

As you can see the Eibach springs are sorely needed here...

Both from my first proper drive in it to Snake's Pass just outside Manchester.

P.S The eagle-eyed will spot the passenger fog filled with water....

Looks nice man, really rare model these and the interior is fantastic.

My GTi has got the OEM leather interior but I think the Colour Concept Recaro seats are even better, I like the wheels too.

Yeah the Sportline springs will give it a nice drop and wont effect the ride comfort too much (if at all).
The Snake Pass 8) Quality road

You should start a progress thread of the car and let everybody know the changes that you plan to make.

Ben,

is the standard ride height on the colour concept and the Gti the same? i thought the Gti sits 20mm or so lower than standard models :?

if so wouldn't the 50mm springs lower mboyle4's Gti more than the colour concept?

excuse me if im wrong :D

The gti had 15mm lower suspension than non gti models - i think the eibach springs will have pretty much the same effect on all the polo models though - I think the original shocks are the same on all the models though but im not 100% sure on that. That colour concept looks mint, great rare car they hold there value really well to. A lot of features on them and the leather is mint!

Cheers guys, the overall effect is of a nice car but there quite a bit of work to do on it yet.

- yeah Ben it's a fantastic road, gotta respect it though, there was a Golf that slid off the road and nearly sent himself into the trees down the hillside, lucky guy really, seemed ok just a bit shocked!

Yeah I'll try and get some more snaps and then start the thread up on them.
