Cheers for the comments people. The kw i got from dpm probably the cheapest price you'll find and if you haggle they'll give you discount i saved about £50 so bonus.
As for the lamin-x its from lamin-x .co.uk i thought it was a little bit pricey tbh for the ammount i need but is really easy to apply if you take the whole light out, also had alot of positive attention about it, and i think until new year they have a sale on so best to buy now.
Another good point is when you drive at night it gives off a really nice yellow light which sets you apart from all the people who have the bright blue xenons which im a bit bored of now, also loads of chavs have them which kind of ruins it lol.
Thinking of painting the wheels next any idea what colour to go for?

From thier FAQ:
Is your tinted/coloured light protection road legal?
Our coloured/tinted headlamp protection films may not be legal for road use on primary lighting in your country. An off-road use disclosure is hereby declared. Please check your local laws before application if you have concerns. Installation of our tinted protection film on your head lights or fog lamps is done so at your own risk.
The law/Mot hand book within the UK states that front primary lighting must produce a White or Yellow light. There is no documentation about the colour of the actual lens.
Our Clear/SubtleTint/GunSmoke/OpticBlue light protection films all produce a legal natural light colour, and our Yellow produces a Yellow tinted light which is of course perfectly legal within the UK.
None of our light protection films change/adjust the beam pattern or cause insufficient light output.
Seems by that they are not illegal

Im impressed by how well the bluemotion grill suits the car.
Where did you get it from?

Hi sorry for the late reply but yeah the lamin x peels off nice and didnt leave any residue on the last car i had it on. The grill was 67 pound from vw but im selling mine if anyone wants it.
As for the badges all you need is the little torx screw driver in the boot. For the back take out the 3 or 4 screws on the hatch trim then prize off the panel gently with something flat that wont scratch the metal ( i used a butter knife) then theres a couple more screws to remove the handle. Plus take of the electrical connection. Then u can gently prise the badge from the handle and paint them whatever colours you like. Reassemble the same way.

Oh and on the front take the two screws out off the grill and pull the grill out then seperate the mesh typ plastic from it then push the tabs on the back of the badges until you can rotate it out i cnt remember which way you twist it but is obvious when you look at it. Then seperate the two peices of the badge, this is the hard bit as i snapped a couple of the hooks that hold it in. Other than that its relatively easy.
