Mine is for sale in london, yours in sheffield and sexkitten just sold hers in southampton.

People seem to get to 89-150 posts on here before the car gets sold.

I don't want to dell mine as I have spent £1500 in the past 6 months.

Tell me about it... I've spent £1000+ on parts alone in 6 months.. And That's at trade price and minus labour!! It'd be double that I reckon with labour...

How much did SEXKITTEN''s GTI sell for?

I wouldn't be selling but I've seen a gorgeous BBM mk2 GTi for sale...

In some cases yes. Mine's up at £1800 and it doesn't need work, i've just priced it to sell.

Just out of curiosity... Have you had many views on the car at that price range?

I've had a couple of people interested but no viewings. Don't think the short MOT helped though, expires in November. Didn't realise you could get one at any time though so just put it through, hopefully with 12 months MOT it'll encourage a few people to come see it now.

They are selling... Well, I just bought one two weeks ago (after a long time looking around for one that had been looked after)

Silver 2000 W-reg completely standard (even the VW tape deck) with 55k miles. Needed a cam belt and the windows don't work but otherwise mint. Paid 2800 and I'm the 3rd owner. Love it!
