thanks Alex, I knew it! thats why i asked here instead of just letting halfords order it up.
I'll just order up the stereo i want and see how it fits - thanks :O)

just waiting on prices being confirmed from VW on the fog light parts if not cheaper will just order from veedubmachine tomorrow
