But on a side note Naz, I'm not paying £51 for a used gearstick/cover when I can get a brand new one from VW Parts for half the price!!!!!
Anything you can do with that budd?

If your looking to buy heavy items such as doors, bonnet, wings etc you could easily arrange a collection through TNT, DHL, Parcelforce etc for around £30 so its not too bad really its the little items that could be a problem if you dont live close to Hemel Hempstead.
Hopefully no1naz will be willing to post some items

Yeah I can understand that, which is fair enough tbh, but as I'm getting the spoiler I might aswel pick up the gearstick too.
£51 is probably the petrol there & back for me tbh,

Uploaded pics
some problems though... ive only got the car two days ago and only saw it in the dark so im not too clued up on the car
it kinda looks like two different shades of silver down the drivers side (might just be me) check the pics
and the drivers side electric window is proper dodgy sometimes work sometimes doesnt
passenger one is completely fine
engine management light is on (engine sensor, crankshaft sensor and tempreture sensor needs replacing) but apparently the engine has a full service history (will check the paperwork)
ABS light is on, person that sold it said it was an ABS sensor so i wont sell the pump till i know if it is a sensor or the pump
and as i said before gear 1 is stiff and there is NO reverse gear but the gearbox does not whine??
@ 6n2gti - It has a 6cd changer in the boot
the headunit is a weird double din vw thing (check pics) but theres something wrong with the screen
ive got friday off so im gonna have a look at it then
but i do have the stndard cassete player headunit to go with the 6cd changer
@ Larn - i cant sell teh shock abosrbers yet coz i need to keep the shell rolling
@ bradley1983 - make me an offer
@ 6n2 Nathy - im sure u cant get a gti gearknob and surround (im presuming u mean gaitor) new at a cheaper price, my price stand
I will eventually post but i cant be bothered with the hassle, so collection first then later ill post

Shame to break it - it could be fixed easily and cheaply!

Hmm im tempted m8 believe me
but GTI's just aint selling these days, there all worth more in parts than as a car
and i only bought it coz i needed some parts for mine
but engine needs three sensors i can do two, the crankshaft sensor ive had changed on mine and its an absolute nightmare to do
and gearbox, i do not know what to say.. i genuinely think the gears are misaligned coz sometimes when in reverse it makes a kind of ticking/knocking noise and sometimes it gives nothing at all
could be an easy fix for someone maybe....

Sounds good but itll have to be after 7 coz im at uni till 5.30 and it takes me an hour to get home
oh and i just took the car out for a spin and it abit juddery coz of the dodgy sensors that need replacing but when it gets going it still pulls well
