foo king awsum car, love just about every bit , the looks , the interior, & best of all the power, coming from a mk5 golf 140bhp diesel into this its just WOW. and every one who's been in said the same thing too once i planted my right foot down.
there are a few things though which i dont like or not happy with
1 no lockable glove box to keep the sat nav + other bits in our insurance wanted a lockable glove box if i ever made a claim.
2 the headlights on there highest setting still is not high enough feels like i can only see about 30 feet infront of the car and the golf was about 50-60 foot so not to happy about that .
3 tartan seats not my choice if i had 1 to make, but no option.
4 while out last night planted my right foot again and got the spped right up

there is a very loud droning noise as if there is a blown exhaust at the manifold but as soon as you lift off alittle it go's away, so im hoping its just the newness and it will quiet down once i have a few more miles on it .
sorry no pictures as to much driving and it was raining all day and night and now the car is mega dirty and still raining now.

Glad you think it's awesome! The GTI is a great car.
I know what you mean about the glove box. I used to have lots of stuff in the glove box in my golf but don't have anything now except my iPod. Got prat Nav on my iPhone so have ditched old one so glove box not an issue anymore.
The range on my lights are fine so you could ask the dealer to check them. Failing that you can easily adjust the lights by loosening the torx screws that hold the head lights in to increase the range slightly. Best be careful not to over do it so I suggest doing it in front a garage door or brick wall where you can judge the adjustment and get the lights the same height. I found fitting Xenon bulbs really improves them too.
Tartan seats are excellent now you really know you have a GTI!

I wouldn't have a Polo GTI without them. As I said to Carol you can't see them while you are sitting on them!
Not sure what the noise is you describe but it doesn't sound right to me.
Looking forward to seeing some pics.

I think the car looks really great with the darker painted wheels, it's a nice contrast against the White of the car. You must be delighted. What is the exact colour of the wheels they look Anthracite from the pictures? It's nice to have the individuality of this look. Please put up some more pictures when you have washed it

Also meant to say I bet the darker tinted windows look fantastic against the White of the car. I really like it on my Candy White Golf.

The car looks stunning. The wheels and windows are such a great contrast to the White.

Looks stunning! Love the location you've chosen for the photos, but not so keen on the nasty black stripe on your rear number plate
