Nah they'd just remove your fogs entirely. Then fit a seperate LED DRL unit into the fog light slot in the bottom of the bumper.NeilMcConville wrote:What way would the lights be set up then...need to constantly have your fogs on?

But howd the light settings work? What way would you be turning the switch? :L
Re: VW Offering LED DRL Retrofit
You wouldn't turn the switch. They'd be recoded as your DRL's.NeilMcConville wrote:But howd the light settings work? What way would you be turning the switch? :L

Re: VW Offering LED DRL Retrofit
Gave my dealer a ring this morning, appararantly the parts are now available for the Golf but he said there was no mention of anything to do with LED Daytime Running Lights in the pipeline for the 6R Polo.

Also received a VW customer magazine this week from VW Finland, and there's an ad for the DRLs there (€379!!!). Unfortunately no part numbers, but the text says they're available for:
Golf 2008->
Golf Variant 2010->
Polo 2009->
So they're definitely in the pipeline for the Polo as well.
Re: VW Offering LED DRL Retrofit
I rang at the beginning of September and he informed me they were in the pipeline and told me to ring back in a month. I rang back this morning and he couldn't find anything about it, strange. I want these so bad. Contemplating buying the parts of ebay.de and then taking them to the dealer for the fitment but is this something they would do?
Re: VW Offering LED DRL Retrofit
Found these for anyone interested. Maybe a better looking option than the retrofitted LED DRL's.
