Have thought we needed to use the yellow?
Re: Forge 007p question
I asked forge on Facebook, they said yellow should be used. looked at mine today and its greeeeeen, so I've ordered the spring kit and the service kit cause it was running low on grease in there.
Forge 007p question
The plan was to try the blue then go to the yellow if i feel its too tight but i cant tell the differance but dnt supose ya should be able to tell i was hopin vcds would help ran a block 115 any thoughts on tests for it? Anyone?

Re: Forge 007p question
dont look at peak, look at boost made through the gear, the better spring holds boost better, stock boost drops off faster
Forge 007p question
Ahh on another note just lookn at ma spreadsheet noticed it says absolute pressure the 2nd colum on block 115 peek is 2340mbar so x 0.0145037738= psi This equates to 35.244. Wtf 35 psi on a stage 2 revo with a ko3s. Am I missing somthing? Lol

Think i need to buy the microsoft excel to see my resultsdood9n3 wrote:dont look at peak, look at boost made through the gear, the better spring holds boost better, stock boost drops off faster
on a graph coz the vcds graph doesnt show a scale :s that way i could see how they level off. Hows u mean stock boost drops off faster like compairing the 2nd column to the 1st?

Re: Forge 007p question
With stock k03s, the boost hits peak and then drops rapidly, with forge dv, boost drops slowerdrennan wrote:Think i need to buy the microsoft excel to see my resultsdood9n3 wrote:dont look at peak, look at boost made through the gear, the better spring holds boost better, stock boost drops off faster

Forge 007p question
Ah rite so i would realy need to get excel to see a graph this way i can run the 2 and see what drops off the slowest is best
cheers man! U had any joy 9n3 turbo?
Forge 007p question
But the boost drops slower but still can't get any higher than the peak on the map. The only reason the boost drops slower is because Tw dv is more efficient in recirculating it back into the turbo. The turbo is still producing the same pressure regardless of the dump valve.

It's at MJ's for a retrim. Won't get it back till Feb 4th.
But to be honest having spoken to revo tuner they recommend the yellow spring. So will fit that one for now.
Then once I get the hybrid on I will see what Bill (Badger5) recommends the blue or to stay with the yellow.
Forge 007p question
Also having a spring that is too strong is not good for the turbo. It can cause damage. I'm sure your aware of this anyway.
Forge 007p question
Yeash think al change it when i get a chance after looking more into it easy job. Cheers for that man

Re: Forge 007p question
The higher boost as rpm decreases allows for power to be held longerbenmkiv wrote:But the boost drops slower but still can't get any higher than the peak on the map. Try testing on a dyno
