The R32 was an amazing car, just lacked a real punch.
The quality of it was amazing.

Hopefully have an update for this by the weekend :-)

I though the fuel needle had broken. I actually did 140 miles before the needle dropped off full, with 420 miles left to empty.

Bought myself a set of 312mm brakes:

They were full of rust and slapped on paint so i stripped them back to metal and painted them:

Gave them another coat and left them to dry, i've ordered some grooved discs and some pads too.
Hopefully a few more parts will arrive this week.

Seconded, I usually get 450 miles from my stage 1 pd100. I'm going to clean my inlet manifold, replace the fuel filter and give the oil a flush and see if that improves things.

P.s- Love the GT 8) and the plans you have for it sound awesome. Diesel power!

Alright chaps open your filler Cap look inside on the right side and you will see a little black button sticking out and you press that with the petrol nozzle after your car would normally fill up and you'll be able to squeeze in another 10 to 15 litres on sunday I put 52 ish litres and I have got 600 in the tank :) it is motorway driving though... 70mph

I dontthink you get that much Dan. Its about 5 litres at the most.
I need this remapping as my fabia running 230bhp was better MPG.

I recall reading in the manual about that, and something like you should only press the button and top up more if you intend to use it right away (ie for long journeys) since you're filling the expansion space in the tank, normally reserved for air which stops excessive pressure buildup. something to that effect. Maybe less of an issue in a diesel.

£1000? Maybe £10k lol
Put it this way:
Clutch/flywheel £1k
Turbo £1k
Fmic/pipework £700

Thats just average for my fabia, so if they do 240 for £1k ill have 2 one forthe polo and one for the bora. Haaha.
On a more relevant note, my Votex/BlueMotion stuff came yesterday thanks to 'JIC Cracked' top bloke and recammend him to anyone for buying bits n bobs.

The brake pads arrived today, but bythe time i got in from work/MOT the collection place had closed. So i'll fit them this weekend.

Just need to price up the painting of the skirts and splitter.
